- Wave Telecom sign a £2m deal with the Jersey Electricity Company to use the CIEG fibre-optic cable that links Guernsey to Jersey and France.

- Wave launch a fixed line service to Guernsey customers and host the first 'Summer Wave' concert, raising £20,000 for charity.
- Wave Telecom provides infrastructure for emergency services new radio network and showcases 3G technology.

- Wave signs up its 10,000th mobile customer and invests £7 million in a new submarine cable.

- Wave acquire Newtel Guernsey, including datacentres at St George’s and First Tower Lane in St Peter Port.
