It's easy to get connected, simply follow these steps:
- Choose the landline plan and talk bundle that's best for you. Then select the JT Broadband plan that matches the way you use the internet.
- Alternatively if you would like to combine your mobile, broadband and landline for a complete home service product select our JT One plan.
- If you're an existing JT customer simply call us on 882 882 and we will arrange for your services to be connected.
- If you're a new customer please go to the JT Store at 18 Queen Street to get your copy of the new account application form. This form can only be completed in store.
Existing JT customer, looking to change or add a service?
If you want to change your broadband, simply click here to complete our online form. We'll process the order and let you know when it's complete.
If you're an existing JT Landline customer and want to add JT Broadband to your account, simply call us on 882 882. We will process the order quickly and easily over the phone.
Connecting your service
We aim to connect new telephone lines, which do not require an engineering visit to your premises, within 4 working days.
If an engineer has to visit your premises, our target time to complete your installation is 10 working days.
If we have to carry out external line plant work to complete your installation, our target time to complete your installation is 15 working days.
We aim to connect broadband services within 10 working days. A fixed line service is required to provide the broadband service and should be requested at the same time as the broadband service if one is not already existing in the property.

Need any extra work?
If you need any extra work doing, such as having extra phone points fitted, we'll send an engineer round on a date that suits you.
There's an initial call-out charge of £56, with labour charged at £28 for every half hour after that. These charges don't include any materials or equipment, which will be added to your bill.
Our engineers will tell you how long the job will take before they start work. And if you change your mind and decide not to go ahead with it, that's fine. You won't be charged a thing.

Weekday evening & Saturday visit call out charge: £66.50
Weekday evening & Saturday half hourly rate: £33.15
Overnight, Sunday & Bank Holiday visit call out charge: £76.50
Overnight, Sunday & Bank Holiday half hourly rate: £38.25
Visits include the first half hour of labour.
