Call charges for directory enquiry services vary according to each individual provider of directory enquiry services as many offer different features and therefore charge in different ways. Each directory enquiry service provider has chosen to use one of four different tariff types:
Fixed Fee only - a charge that is applied as soon as the call is answered. This is the total cost of the call.
Per Minute- a per minute charge that is applied throughout the call.
Combination Charge - a Fixed Fee that is applied as soon as the call is answered as well as a per minute charge that is applied throughout the call.
Two Rate - a Fixed Fee that is applied as soon as the call is answered which includes the cost of the first minute followed by a per minute charge that is applied throughout the remainder of the call.
Please note:
These charges do not apply to calls made from payphones, FlexiLine, ISDN, FastLine or FastLinePlus services.
For reverse charge calls please refer to the section 'Calling via the Operator' (NB Calls made via the operator will incur a higher charge).
Local calls do not include operator services, JT mobile numbers, Premium Rate, Advanced or Information Services.
