WHO’S ELIGIBLE FOR THE JT SENIOR HOME SERVICE?
To be eligible for the Senior Home Service, you need to be over 65 and have:
- A valid Jersey pension card
- Access to a JT mobile network signal
- Not have any other services dependent on a landline,such as an alarm line or broadband.
HOW DO I APPLY FOR THE JT SENIOR HOME SERVICE?
The service is available now and it’s easy to apply. Simply pop into our Queen Street store and pick up your Senior Home Service handset today.
ABOUT THE JT SENIOR HOME SERVICE
This new service uses the JT mobile network instead of the landline network. However you can keep your current landline number. To operate this service you will need to purchase a JT Senior Home Service handset at a cost of £36 upfront or £1.50 spread over 24 months. A SIM card is inserted into the handset, which looks like a standard home phone, to enable you to use it. The JT Senior Home Service handset, doesn’t require any technical support, you simply take it home, plug it in and you’ll be up and running - it operates just like any other home phone. This is a residential only scheme and is not available on a business line, temporary line or payphone line.
