Are there any projects we can't support?
We understand that there are many worthwhile charities and organisations needing our support. However, sadly we cannot support them all.
Below is a list of applications that we wouldn’t support and we ask that you read through them prior to making any application:
- Applications from outside of the Channel Islands, where the charity, application or event need is off-island;
- Applications where the funding request cannot be directly attributed to a community give-back i.e., salaries, recruitment costs, marketing/website/campaign costs, non-JT owned software and licenses, travel and transport costs, operational costs and other general running costs.
- Religious or political associations;
- Sponsorship of sports teams or kits;
- Sponsorship of individuals;
- Headline partnerships where other telecommunications companies are involved;
- Events that may pose a health, safety or reputation risk; or
- Events that are being held less than 3 months from the application or ones that don’t meet the criteria for a successful application.
- Corporate membership programmes.
Also please do note that for an application to be successful the information provided must be complete and detailed.

Can I save and come back later to my application?
Unfortunately, applications are unable to be saved and returned to at a later date. So please do ensure you set aside the time to read and submit all details. If you have the information to hand, then the application should take no longer than 10-15 minutes to complete.
Can I apply more than once?
- You can submit an application for support up to 4 times a year (once in every round) However, we will prioritise new requests where needed.
- Applicants who apply for and are given 12 months free services, cannot request to extend those services every year.
- For the best chance of your applications being successful, we recommend looking at how we can help your fundraising efforts over the next calendar year, so you can spread your requests out quarterly and apply in advance.
If my application is successful, when can I expect to receive the funds?
Applications are reviewed 4 times a year and we aim to transfer funds within 6 weeks of confirming your application is successful.
