JT One Lite Terms of Reference
The following terms of reference are in addition to and must be read in conjunction with the following JT Terms & Conditions:
  • Data Service Terms & Conditions;
  • Exchange Line Service Terms and Conditions; and
  • Post-paid Mobile Service Terms & Conditions.
Unless otherwise specified, terms used in these Terms of Reference have the same meaning as defined in JT’s Exchange Line Service Terms and Conditions.

The services and prices set forth in these Terms of Reference apply as at the effective date of the Customer’s Contract for the JT One Lite plan. Thereafter JT may vary these services and/or prices in accordance with the applicable JT Terms and Conditions.

Requirements

In order to qualify for the JT One Lite Service, the Customer must agree to the following:

  • The Customer must sign up to a broadband service, a mobile service and a landline service, which must all be on the same account.
  • Online billing and payment by Direct Debit are a pre-requisite for this service.
  • The Customer agrees to a 24-month contract term for each of their broadband service and landline service.
Only one JT One Lite Service is permitted per JT account.

A Customer who is within the minimum term of a contract for their existing mobile service, whether with JT or another mobile service provider, cannot transfer their mobile service to a new JT One Lite Service until they either: (i) complete the minimum term of their contract; or (ii) pay JT or their mobile service provider (as applicable) for the remainder of that minimum term.

A Customer who is within the minimum term of a contract for their existing JT broadband Service or JT landline Service may transfer their broadband and/or landline services to a JT One Lite Service by signing a new JT One Lite 24-month contract for both Services, provided that a Customer cannot downgrade their broadband speed at the time of the transfer.

JT One Lite Service

The JT One Lite entry plan includes the following per month:

Broadband Up to 100Mb (250Mb from 18 May 2018) service with 25GB peak time usage;
Mobile 175 minutes of calls to all Channel Island & UK landlines and mobiles and international landlines & mobiles and 175 text messages to any destination; and
Landline A fixed line rental.

Mobile allowance:

  • Up to four JT One Lite mobile services (each charged at the applicable rate for the mobile option selected by the Customer) are allowed per JT One Lite Service.
  • Up to four devices purchased by means of a JT Pay Monthly plan are allowed per JT One Lite Service.
JT One Lite Broadband Terms

Once signed up to the JT One Lite Service, a Customer may add the following upgrade to the speed of their broadband service at any time without being required to renew or extend the contract term:

  • 1Gb, 300 GB usage - will be charged at an additional £35 per month.
Additional broadband data bundles can be purchased to increase the monthly peak time usage allowance with the following options:

  • 50GB for an additional £5
  • 100GB for an additional £10
  • 200GB for an additional £15
The monthly download limits are for peak time usage. Additional usage in excess of the peak time allowance is charged at 30p per GB (1Gb = 1,024 MB). Peak time is between 8am and midnight. Usage is unlimited in the off-peak time between midnight and 8am.

JT One Lite Landline Line Terms

Add additional bundles of minutes with the following options:

  • 1,000 minutes to all local mobile numbers for an additional £4;
  • 1,000 minutes to UK landline and mobile numbers for an additional £5;
  • 2,000 minutes to all local mobile and landline numbers for an additional £10.
JT One Lite Mobile Terms

Add additional text messages to any destination with the following option:

  • 10,000 text messages to any destination for an additional £3 per month.
Add data to the JT One Lite mobile service with the following options:

  • 1GB for an additional £5 per month;
  • 10GB for an additional £10 per month;
  • 25GB for an additional £20 per month;
  • 100GB for an additional £30 per month;
  • Mobile data share for an additional £4 per month per device.
Existing Pay as you go users may transfer their mobile service to the JT One Lite Service. The JT account holder of the account on to which the mobile will be transferred, must bring photographic identification together with the Pay as you go mobile handset itself into the retail outlet, where the retail staff will process the request.

The call minutes allowance is unique to the JT One Lite mobile service and will not be shared with any other mobiles on the same account. Mobile data can be shared across the same account if a data share bolt-on is purchased for an additional £4 per month per device. The text messages and mobile data allowances are for the billed month. Any data and/or text messages that remains unused at the end of a month will not be carried over to the following month. All usage in excess of the above allowances will be charged at JT’s standard rates.

The text messages allowance only applies to text messages sent from a mobile connected to JT’s network in Jersey or Guernsey, but such text messages can be sent to any number worldwide. JT cannot guarantee delivery of any text message.

Any calls, text messages and data used whilst roaming will be charged at JT’s standard roaming rates. See www.jtglobal.com/roaming for more information.

General terms

Subscription to the JT One Lite Service cannot be taken in conjunction with any other JT landline, mobile or broadband promotional offers.

If the Customer removes the mobile service, the broadband service, and/or the landline service or the entry level landline call bundle from the JT One Lite Service account, JT One Lite pricing for the remaining service is no longer valid. The account holder will be liable to pay for the remaining Minimum Contract Period on any disconnected service and JT will make all reasonable efforts to contact the account holder to discuss changing the tariff of the remaining service(s). Should the account holder not respond, JT will write to the account holder informing them that the remaining product will be moved to another tariff deemed suitable by JT.

Online Billing and payment by Direct Debit are standard on the JT One Lite plan. JT will be entitled to charge an additional £1.25 per month for each of: (i) billing not received online; and (ii) payment made other than by Direct Debit. Therefore a Customer that does not sign up to either online billing or payment by Direct Debit may incur a total additional charge of £2.50 each month.

JT One Lite landline and mobile allowances do not include calls made and text messages sent to premium rate numbers or any other specialised landline or mobile services that incur charges in excess of standard call charges, as detailed on www.jtglobal.com

JT One Terms of Reference

JT One - Terms of Reference

JT One Service

The JT One entry plan includes the following per month:

  • Broadband Up to 250Mb download/50Mb upload service with unlimited usage.
  • Mobile Unlimited calls to all Channel Island landlines and mobiles and unlimited text messages to any destination.
  • Landline the entry level landline call bundle provides unlimited calls to all local landlines and the fixed landline rental.

Mobile allowance:

  • Up to four JT One mobile services (each charged at the applicable rate for the mobile option selected by the Customer) are allowed per JT One package.
  • Up to four devices purchased by means of a JT Pay Monthly plan are allowed per JT One package.


JT One Broadband Terms

Once signed up to JT One, a Customer may add the following upgrade to the speed of their broadband service at any time without being required to renew or extend the contract term:

  •  250Mb/250Mb unlimited usage – will be charged at an additional £23 per month
  • 1Gb/100Mb, unlimited usage – will be charged at an additional £37 per month.

Although there is no fixed limit on monthly broadband usage, JT reserves the right to apply a fair usage policy.  If JT, acting reasonably, is of the opinion that a Customer’s broadband usage is excessive compared to standard home usage, or has a detrimental effect on other customers, then JT may set a limit on the Customer’s monthly usage.  Should that limit be persistently breached, JT may restrict, suspend or terminate the Customer’s broadband service.

JT One Mobile Terms

Add additional call destinations to the JT One entry level mobile service with the following options:

  • Unlimited calls to CI & UK fixed and mobile numbers for an additional £10 per month
  • Unlimited calls to CI, UK & selected international destinations* fixed and mobile numbers for an additional £15 per month.

* The international destinations included are: Australia, Botswana, France, Ireland, Kenya, Latvia, Poland, Portugal, South Africa and USA.

Add data to the JT One mobile service with the following options:

  • 1GB for an additional £5 per month;
  • 10GB for an additional £10 per month;
  • 25GB for an additional £20 per month;
  • 100GB for an additional £30 per month;
  • Mobile data share for an additional £4 per month per device.

Jersey promotion specific Terms of Reference

These Terms of Reference are provided in addition to and must be read in conjunction with the JT One Terms of Reference for JT (Jersey) Limited (“JT”), which are available at /jersey/jt-one/. Unless otherwise specified, terms used in these Terms of Reference have the same meaning as defined in the JT One Terms of Reference.

1. This offer is available to new Customers who sign up to the £59 per month JT One plan for a Minimum Contract Period of twenty-four (24) months (the “£59 Plan”) in JT’s retail store in Jersey between Tuesday 4th September 2018 and 31st October 2018 (the “Promotion Period”).

2. A new Customer signing up to the £59 Plan during the Promotion Period will receive the first three (3) months of the £59 Plan for free (the “£59 Free Service”).

3. A Customer may not purchase more than one £59 Plan for the same landline telephone number.

4. This offer is only available to new Customers of the JT One plan signing up for the £59 Plan directly in JT’s retail store in Jersey.

5. Any additional bolt-ons added to the standard £59 Plan are not included in £59 Free Service and the Customer will be charged extra for these at the standard JT rates.

6. The offer is non-transferable and non-refundable and a Customer cannot receive cash, or an alternative item, in place of the £59 Free Service.

7. This offer may not be taken in conjunction with any other promotion offered by JT during the Promotion Period.

8. The Customer may notify JT at any time during the three months of the £59 Free Service that it wishes to cancel the £59 Plan and JT shall cancel the £59 Plan without charge.  For the avoidance of doubt, if the Customer does not cancel the £59 Plan prior to the expiry of the £59 Free Service, the Customer shall be liable for the remaining twenty-one (21) months of the Minimum Contract Period.
