Important message about your top-up service

From the 1 September 2023, Pay As You Go top-up vouchers will no longer be available for purchase from local shops around the island. 

You will still be able to top-up your phone using the ‘JT My Top Up’ app or top-up portal and in addition, you will now be able to top up using your debit or credit card by dialling ‘235’ on your device for free. More information on each of the top-up channels available can be found below.

*Please note any vouchers purchased prior to 1 September will still be valid for 3 months from the date of purchase.

Topping up your Pay As You Go mobile

JT My Top Up App

To top-up via the My Account App, search for ‘JT My Top Up’ in the Apple App Store or the Android Play Store and download the app to your device.​

  1. Enter your JT Pay As You Go mobile number.​
  2. Wait for your confirmation text message and use this as your login.​
  3. Login and follow the easy instructions to top up. ​​

Freephone 235

To top up credit balance only:

  • Calling this number is free.
  • Have your debit or credit card ready and dial 235 on your device.
  • Follow the instructions given including the amount you wish to top up by, followed by your card details and confirmation.

What’s included in the new plans?

Payg plans

  • For all plans, International calls/texts will be charged at 6p/min/each (+20p connection fee).

Does where I top-up from affect which plans I can choose?

  • New 30-day plans are only available to purchase from our website topup.jtglobal.com or via the free JT ‘My Top-Up’ App which is available on both Android and iOS App Stores.
  • Purchasing monetary credit only, can be done by selecting the ‘Credit’ tab online at topup.jtglobal.com or topping up via free phone number 235.

Do I keep my credit with a JT Big Bundle plan?

  • No, you don’t get to keep your credit as these new plans last for 30-days (rather than 7 or 14 days) plus give you even more minutes, texts and data than ever before.  You pay for the Big Bundle plan each month and if you require additional credit for out-of-bundle calls or when roaming, simply add monetary balance to your account.  – The customer pays for the 30-day plan – they do not get the allowance and credit.

How do I call local landlines, UK and international numbers if it’s not included in my 30-day plan?

  • Add monetary credit via the JT My Top Up App or online here or by calling the freephone number, 235.
  • Once you’ve added credit, this can be used for any calls, texts, and data on-island (unless you choose the unlimited bundle for £20) or when roaming.

I don’t want a 30-day plan

  • Simply add credit, see above, and pay for what you use, when you use it.

What mobile data speed can I expect?

  • All Pay-As-You-Go plans have a maximum available mobile data speed of 10Mbp/s and the unlimited data plan is subject to our Fair Usage Policy.

How much will I be charged for calls, texts and data out-of-bundle?

  • Any activity that isn’t included in your 30-day plan will use your credit balance.

  • Voice calls are charged per minute, with a minimum call charge of 1 minute. Voicemail retrieval is a chargeable service.
  • SMS text messages are charged per 160 characters.
  • Mobile data is charged in increments of 1MB, with a minimum charge of 19p/MB.

Our Pay-as-you-go Bundles are valid for 30 days and are only available to purchase via our App or website.
Where You top up in-store or over the phone You will only receive the monetary credit associated with the relevant top up.
The maximum mobile data speed is capped at 10Mbps and the unlimited data plan is subject to Our Fair Usage Policy.
