Should I take my router with me?

Yes, please take the router from your old property to your new property. Your home network details will remain the same so just plug it in to the data socket in your new property and you'll be able to connect to your router as you did at your old property.

My new property doesn't have a broadband connection

Engineers will install a broadband 'distribution point' at your property and connect it to the main network from the roadside cabinet. This will be chargeable as a new service is being added to the core network. The engineer visit is free on a 24-month contract or £65 on all other home broadband contracts.
